Environment Focus Of Second April Exhibit

While the impact society has on the environment is top of mind for many, it is not for all. To help refocus us all on conservation issues, Second April Galerie & Studios is hosting Nurture Nature, an exhibit featuring 20 pieces showing artists’ vision of the current state of the environment.

An opening reception is being held March 21 from 7 to 9 pm, and the event will also include live music by Kris Kiko Cozy and light refreshments.

In addition to the gallery exhibit, there will also be a showing of the short film “Darbus & The Happy Forest Expedition,” which will be screened at the Kathleen Howland Theatre. The movie was written by Ryan Nehlen and Frank Motz, and edited by Paul Digby and Done Jones.

Nurture Nature is running through April 25 at Second April Galerie & Studio, located at 324 Cleveland Ave NW. The regular gallery schedule is Tuesday through Friday from 10 am to 6 pm, and Saturdays 10 am to 5 pm.
